Solo/Duo Performers

Hector Ultreras

6:00PM

Originally from Los Angeles, Hector got his start on guitar at 15 years old through a high school elective class, learning the classic rock’n’roll tracks he grew up hearing on the radio. Drawing early inspiration from legends like Buddy Holly, Eric Clapton, and Black Sabbath, he spent his teens and twenties mastering his sound in the blues and rock jam scenes across LA and the San Gabriel Valley. At age 28, Hector made his move to Tulsa, diving headfirst into the city’s songwriter open mics and local jam sessions. For the past six years, he’s been fronting his own high-energy band, Hector and the Hexed. His music is available to stream and download across all major platforms.

Joseph Callery

6:30pm

Joseph Callery is a Tulsa native and multi-instrumentalist who began playing guitar and piano in his early youth and later performed in jazz bands at Union High School and Oklahoma State University. In recent years he has performed in dueling piano shows across the country and now appears as a solo artist—a human jukebox with a deep catalog and an ear for the room. A veteran of Beale Street, he played Hammond organ/piano with a full band representing Oklahoma at the 2016 International Blues Challenge. Blues has been a lifelong passion.

D.A. & the 69ers

7:00pm
Back alley delta blues meets WV mud holler blues. We’ve lived the blues a little bit more than we wanted too, but it’s made us who we are today. Not flashy but sure can bend it. D.A. Bowen on guitar, Shug Morrow on harp.

Jett Thompson

7:30pm

Hailing from Shawnee, Oklahoma, 16-year-old Jett Thompson is a Dale High School sophomore who frontlines the band The Shawp as lead vocalist and guitarist. A member of the Oklahoma Opry, Jett’s sharp musicianship recently earned him national recognition when he was selected as one of just four guitarists across the country to attend the prestigious Grammy Camp in Nashville. Since picking up a guitar at the age of twelve, he has been heavily influenced by Stevie Ray Vaughan, Marcus King, and Christone “Kingfish” Ingram. One of the highlights in his life so far has been sharing the stage with Lucious Spiller in an open jam at the Ground Zero Blues Club in Clarksdale, MS.
